The message is the same wherever I’ve gone - we have children doing phonics interventions STILL despite YEARS of instruction. Phonics isn’t the answer to your problems & won’t work for every child. Phonics programmes create a false narrative as to how words are built & due to their never-ending list of invented GPCs, make graduating from them almost impossible for some children.
